Digital Guruji : Hi!! Will you please introduce yourself to our readers?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : My name is Vijay Mohan Shinde, I am the Founder of Marathi media. I belong to a very small village in Solapur District of Maharashtra. I’m a Digital Marketer, Celebrity Manager, and actor by profession. I am also working as a consultant with some renowned production houses.
Digital Guruji : Why did you think of starting Marathi Media?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : Being a native of Maharashtra, it’s my solely promote my culture, traditions, and language. With the influence of western culture, most of the Indian have forgotten their values and ethics. So I started Marathi media, to showcase the struggle, talent of Marathi people all over the world.
Digital Guruji : What does Marathi Media do?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : Here at Marathi Media, we provide several services like Celebrity media management, PR services, Social media marketing, also we collaborate with several influencers of YouTube, Instagram, etc. to promote new products of several renowned brands.
Digital Guruji : What were the first few months of an career as founder of Marathi media like?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : The first few months of my career as the founder of Marathi Media were all about learning. I thought of first working on my skills rather than approaching people for work. So the starting was all about learning. The first few months also taught me how hard I need to work to fulfill my dreams. We had no funds in starting, we are managing all work with our savings only.

Digital Guruji : How has been the support from friends and family?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : My family was always very supportive. They never stopped me from doing what I wanted to in life. I would especially thank my Uncle for supporting me throughout my journey. They were always with me and motivated me to keep working. This support from my family made me overcome all these challenges and it still helps me to overcome all the challenges that I face. My best friend Ajit Karwande and Nilesh Singh was there to stand with me when I decided to work on the Startup named Marathi Media.
Digital Guruji : Tell us about the people who impacted your journey.
Vijay Mohan Shinde : The people who impacted my journey were my parents and my friend Amol Ghodke. I would really want to Amol Ghodke a lot, he was my partner at the initial stage, later on, he developed his own brand. He has been a major support throughout this journey. I owe him a lot in life. Whatever I have done until now is all because of them and a few other friends.
Digital Guruji : What has been the proudest moment of your career at Marathi Media?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : The proudest moment for me in my life till now is that being from a small village in Solapur, I dreamt of something like this and achieved some part of it. People there don’t think about this. My parents saw me over media, advertisements, etc. I could see how proud they felt. People started talking about me to my parents about how did I reach till here. So these things have been some of the proudest moments of my life. They will be too happy after reading my interview with digital guruji.
Digital Guruji : How far do you think you’ve come since you started Marathi Media?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : It’s just the beginning according to me. I’ve just started. I’m still learning. An entrepreneur keeps learning throughout his life. It’s still a very long way to go.
Digital Guruji : Your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before starting Marathi Media?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : Previously, I was working as a clerk in a private company. In the beginning, there were a lot of difficulties in this work, there was a huge competition on it. I was a village boy and I had to face many difficulties.
Digital Guruji : Tell us something about your education & family background.
Vijay Mohan Shinde : I have completed my graduation with average grades. I haven’t achieved anything majorly in the education field. I was always an average student. We are 4 members in the family. My dad is a farmer. My mom’s a housewife. My wife is also a housewife. My family has supported me throughout. They’ve been a major part of my journey and always stood with me to fulfill my dreams.
Digital Guruji : Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : There’s no specific formula to become an entrepreneur. He needs to keep working on his/her ideas. It’s all about the talent and hard work you put in. Nobody can teach you a certain formula to become a successful entrepreneur.
Digital Guruji : If you had a magic stick, which is the two things you would change in the world?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : I would be really happy if I had a magic stick with me. Firstly I would want to make education better in government schools. The right to education is something that I would actually imbibe in people over here. Second, I would want to remove poverty. Everybody should get the chance to enjoy all the things in life.
Digital Guruji : Any regrets till now?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : No. I have no regrets in my life. I’m actually happy with all the things that I’ve done. All decisions are those that I don’t regret at all.
Digital Guruji : If not the current profession, what would you have been?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : If I wouldn’t have been a part of this industry, I would’ve been in the Army. My parents always wanted me to join the Army.
Digital Guruji : What keeps you going and who inspires you the most?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : I’m majorly inspired by many handicapped people. They’ve been facing challenges throughout their life. But even after those things, there are many who have achieved a lot. So I think if they have such major problems can achieve this, then why not me.
Digital Guruji : Can you describe/outline your typical day?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : I have a very normal and a general day. I wake up, go to the gym, get ready for the office, work throughout the day. After I’m done with my work, I like reading books, watching films and ya that’s all. That’s how I enjoy my day.
Digital Guruji : If you were given a choice of meeting any celebrity you want, who will be that celebrity?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : I would really like to meet Kangana Ranaut. I like her for her craft and also she’s a very genuine person, very straightforward. That’s what I like about her.
Digital Guruji : What is the biggest misconception that you think people have about you?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : People generally think that I have some major ego issues, which is surely a misconception. That’s true that I don’t talk much. But it’s not about the ego. I’ve never been a major extrovert. I love making friends, There’s nothing like that.
Digital Guruji : What are your ideals / Principals?
Vijay Mohan Shinde : I’ve always believed that one should never give up. Be it however tough the situation is, never give up. Better things are on the way. Just keep going. These are the principles that I follow.

Vijay Mohan Shinde : My greatest fear is that what if I am not able to achieve my dreams. I have many dreams that I have to fulfill. So that is my major fear. I manage them by just working. I keep working and I believe if I keep doing that, I’ll achieve my dreams someday.

Vijay Mohan Shinde : I’ve learned a lot throughout this journey. I’ve learned that one should never give up. Do whatever your heart says. Don’t think about how people will judge you. Good things take time.

Vijay Mohan Shinde : The only message I have for people reading this is that never give up in your life. Keep working hard. This hard work will pay off really soon.

Vijay Mohan Shinde : I remember in the starting days, there was a celebrity coming to a place. People had gathered in huge numbers to see him and get clicked with him. Even I tried clicking a picture with him. But even after trying for 2 hours, I couldn’t. That day I decided that I want this for myself. I cried a lot that day. I decided that this is what I wanna work for, that I don’t have to stand in lines to get a picture clicked.
